The West Palm Beach Library Foundation’s Mission:


To help expand programs, enhance services and strengthen the book and media collections of our Library so we may preserve the past, empower lives today and build for the future.

  

The West Palm Beach Library Foundation, a 501(c) 3 organization and independent from the City of West Palm Beach, was formed to support the West Palm Beach Public Library. The Foundation, free of any political process or influence, will secure financial and in-kind donations to enhance programs, services, collections and technology that the city’s reasonable operating budget can not encompass.




There is not such a cradle of democracy upon the earth as the Free Public Library, this republic of letters,
where neither rank, office, nor wealth receives the slightest consideration.
